3 Big Benefits of Playing Tag
Why thousands are joining the Tag family
It's Fun!
Music, friends, and a great atmosphere. We are dedicated to making sure you have a FUN time every week.
Get Fit!
Chase a tag or sprint for a try. Work it into your current workout or use it to build your base fitness level.
It's Safe!
Strict "No Tackling" rules. The aim is to grab a tag, not the player. Safety is our #1 priority.
About Hong Kong Tag Rugby
At HKTRL, our mission is to nurture tag rugby from the grassroots up, working hand-in-hand with local clubs, schools, and international partners like the International Tag Federation (ITF).
Create inclusive opportunities for people to enjoy rugby in a non-contact format.
Support young players in developing their skills and confidence.
Provide pathways for fitness, friendship, and lifelong participation in rugby.
Strengthen ties with rugby communities so tag rugby complements and enriches the wider rugby family.
Develop the women’s game, ensuring female athletes have equal opportunities to grow, compete, and shine.
Empower and include domestic helpers, supporting them through tag rugby and working toward the creation of the first Filipina National Women’s Tag Rugby Team.
Support grassroots programs to give athletes another sporting option, helping them expand their skills across different disciplines while building confidence and community.
"By building strong partnerships and fostering a spirit of teamwork, we ensure tag rugby is not just a sport, but a community where everyone belongs, develops, and is recognised."
